SITUATION LaborReady came to our marketing department with a request to create a model branch that could be tested, refined, and ultimately rolled-out to the company’s 600 branches across the country. Specific needs included curb appeal, brand messaging and wayfinding ease.
CONTRIBUTION As the Creative Director, I worked with operations leaders to outline the specific functional areas of a branch. We discussed ways to make it easy for walk-in workers to engage with those areas. I laid out the space and developed a brand messaging and wayfinding signage package for the model branch. I created this sketch-up model to illustrate the thinking and desired results.
RESULTS The model branch was furnished and built-out in near approximation to this sketch. The LaborReady brand was soon converted to PeopleReady, so the nationwide roll-out of this model did not go forward.
